⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I couldn't be happier with the work Luis and Sebastian did at Vargas Auto Upholstery. They repaired the driver's seat in my 2012 Toyota Tundra, and the finished product looks factory new. The leather was carefully color matched, ordered specifically for the truck, and the repair is virtually impossible to detect. What impressed me just as much was the craftsmanship. Luis took the time to show me how the seat is disassembled, the old panels are used as templates, the new leather is cut and sewn, and everything is reassembled, including the airbag and heated/ventilated seat components. It's clear they take a lot of pride in doing the job the right way instead of taking shortcuts. They were great to work with from start to finish: friendly, professional, honest about the timeline, and the truck was ready exactly when they said it would be. As a bonus, the interior even has that fresh leather smell again. If you need any automotive upholstery work, whether it's a repair or a full restoration, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vargas Auto Upholstery. Five stars!

I needed to renew front seat cushions on a BMW X1. A couple of calls and a quick visit led to an order of material. The next week I left my car for a day and got it back with good-looking color-matched seat cushions. Effective communication, prompt service - I am happy to recommend Vargas Auto Upholstery.

I had absolutely terrible experience there. My convertible top was broken, and the guy charged me $250 for a “diagnosis” and opened the mechanics part of the convertible top without adequate knowledge nor my permission, and then couldn’t put it back. I had to wait a day to get my car back, and I didn’t get the diagnosis I paid for. Instead he throw me some links to parts that are not even compatible with my car model. It was a total scam and further damaged my car in the process.

Thank you for taking care of our upholstery in the interior roof of the car. The entire upholstery fell down and I couldn’t see in my rear view mirror. It was easy to call and schedule an appointment. Thank you for the amazing job!

I can’t recommend Vargas Auto Upholstery enough. We were on a hunt to modify our Ford work van. We needed a second row and a center console with organizer installed. Called a lot of locations but were told they did not provide services we needed. Vargas Auto Upholstery was recommended to us by a friend. Drove down there spoke to Luis and YES! he was able to help us with our modifications. He is super passionate about his job. He went into depth with project. Second row was installed. Center console was installed. Luis also installed fabric to cover exposed metal. Such a great job. Our van looks so great. Super detailed oriented. He does so much more than just cars. I seen he was working on some chairs. I asked if he can make a replacement canopy for our outdoor swing. He said YES! Got that done too. Looks great

I wish I could leave a more positive review because they seem like good guys that do good work. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience. I brought my seat in that needed the leather on the bolster replaced. I decided on a leather that matched the grain of my seats and I left a $200 deposit. Later, when I brought in my seat, they informed me that the leather was back ordered with no estimated ship date. So, I left and went to another upholstery shop. That shop had a leather in stock that matched perfectly. So, I went back to Vargas Upholstery to pick up my seat and get my deposit back. However, they refused to refund the entire deposit. They said that I had to pay for their time even though they hadn't ordered any material. It's shady business practice to not refund my deposit because I decided to use a different shop, especially when the material I want is on back order with no estimated ship date. They also never mentioned that the deposit wasn't refundable when I made the deposit.

I needed a repair for the vinyl upholstery on my car’s driver side seat. I sent a photo to them, they gave me a quick and reasonable quote and my boyfriend brought the car in the next day. He said they were very pleasant to work with. The color doesn’t perfectly match but I’d specifically told them that doesn’t matter much to me, and this vinyl feels sturdier than what came on the Outback. It’s been a few months and the repair is holding up great!

I ordered a carpet kit for my 1969 Z/28 Camaro. I took the kit to Vargas for installation. They suggested I add a padding under the carpet for an additional charge. I agreed to use the padding and I'm glad I did. One day turn around. The whole interior looks like a brand new car with just a carpet change. Excellent work. Same day service. It was expensive but worth every penny for my classic muscle car. VERY PLEASED!
